Our Vision

To know and enjoy God, through His Word by His Spirit,
so that we might be a cross-shaped community
which makes disciples who enjoy and glorify God.

Our Values

Word

The living God speaks today in His Word by His Spirit. The Bible is all we need to know God and live for Him. We seek to delight and meditate on His Word through the expository preaching and teaching of the Bible.

Community

The Church is God’s family gathered under the headship of Christ. We seek to love one another holistically in the midst of our weakness, joys and sorrows, whilst encouraging each other to live cross-shaped lives for Christ by speaking the truth in love to one another and praying with one another in our Sunday gatherings and our weekly Community Groups.

Mission

The Church’s mission is to make disciples of all nations through the proclamation of the gospel. We seek to be prayerfully dependent on God in sharing the gospel in our own communities, through Church planting, and in partnership with others around the world, so that many would come to enjoy and glorify God.

Leadership Team

Weixiang

Pastor

Wei Xiang is a child of God and husband to Geri. They have 3 boys, Benji, Toby and Daniel, who are currently into maths, trains, buses, and NAPFA tests.

Before entering Pastoral ministry, Wei Xiang pursued a life in the world of finance. Whilst he enjoyed what he did, he grew in conviction over time that  growing other people’s investment, no matter how successful, paled in comparison to the best “investment” that anyone can make – a relationship with the living God in eternity. His desire and joy is to share the good news of Jesus with others.

Wei Xiang enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and running. Above these however, he rejoices that his name is written in Heaven (Luke 10:20), and he seeks to delight in God’s word (Ps 1:2).

He also loves chatting with people exploring Christianity. While he may not have all the answers, he finds these discussions invigorating and encouraging – so please approach him if you have questions about Christianity!

Stuart

Pastor

Stuart is from the UK. He became a Christian while studying at University College London as he read the bible with a friend and became convinced he was who Jesus said he was (a sinner) and Jesus was who He said He is (Lord and Saviour). He studied history there for almost eight years gaining his PhD in 2008, but after that devoted himself full time to telling other people His story.

Stuart trained for Christian ministry as an Associate at St Helen’s Bishopsgate, London, before moving to Singapore to work for the Crossing Church in 2010. There he met and married Chew Chern. Then they moved to Sydney, where Stuart studied at Moore Theological College (BTh), before returning to Singapore in 2015. They have twin daughters – Samantha and Elizabeth.

He enjoys reading, devouring TV series, and supporting Arsenal.

Chew Chern

Kids Ministry Coordinator

Chew Chern is married to Stuart and they have two spirited and sweet twin girls, Samantha and Elizabeth.

She grew up in a non-Christian family, where life was all about our own effort. But while at university in England, she was mind-blown to find out, through friends and reading the Bible, that actually life is all about Jesus, and the wonderful forgiveness he gives!

Chew Chern did a few years as a banker before trading that to do a ministry apprenticeship. She then studied at Moore Theological College in Sydney (BDiv). She did some years in university and church ministry before stopping to be a stay-home-mum (her hardest, yet most important ministry yet!). Now she serves GCC as the kids’ ministry coordinator for 1.5 days a week, while still caring for her twins.

Chew Chern enjoys sourdough bread baking, a good murder mystery and a nap uninterrupted by any kids.

Zoe

Associate

Zoe didn’t grow up knowing God and she started to question the purpose of life when she was in university. God used that and Christians around her to ultimately save her and give her clarity about the purpose of life.

Zoe worked in the social sector doing arts and culture programming for 6-7 years before deciding to try out whether she was suited to spend the rest of her life telling others about Jesus. She did a trainee programme for 3.5years before being further trained at Evangelical Theological College of Asia.

Zoe enjoys coffee, reading and conversations with friends.

Clifton

Associate

Since young, Clifton’s parents impressed on him the importance of knowing Jesus. His mom would pray the Lord’s prayer with him before school. His dad would gather the family for prayer on Friday nights. However, as a teenager, he started to drift away from the faith. A significant turning point was his time in SMU. There, some people at the SMU Christian Fellowship read the Bible with him, and they helped him to see how precious Jesus is and why Jesus is worth following. Now, he is eager to help others know and love Jesus as well!

In his spare time, Clifton enjoys simple pleasures such as cooking, playing chess, and climbing 47 flights of stairs with friends at Skyville@Dawson. But he understands that some of these activities are slightly niche. Afterall, not everyone enjoys … cooking or playing chess.

Chuanyuan

G360 Trainee

Chuanyuan was brought up in a non-Christian household, and was only exposed to true Christianity while studying to be a physiotherapist in Australia. Over time, God opened his heart to see the reality and relevance of the gospel. And since the gospel is real and relevant, Chuanyuan knew God demanded a response. And the only logical response was to follow Him. Chuanyuan has worked as a physiotherapist in an acute hospital for 6 years. During his time there, he had seen many patients die in the wards. Chuanyuan struggled with seeing many of his non-Christian patients dying without knowing Jesus, because he knew they were headed to hell. Thus, Chuanyuan became increasingly convinced that he should not waste his life only focusing on helping people to live well with exercise, but also to die well by loving and following Jesus. As such, he left his job to pursue a ministry apprenticeship under the Gospel 360 programme. Chuanyuan is married to a superwoman, Joey, and has two lovely daughters – Stacey and Stella. He enjoys going to the gym, running, road cycling and solid conversations about the gospel. He is still looking for a ride buddy who is willing to cycle at 3am so that he could get home on time before the kids get up, but alas, God has yet to provide!

Nick

G360 Trainee

Nick was born into a christian family and went to church growing up. He believed the Bible was God’s word, but soon realised that he had a very shallow understanding of who God is and why that was important. Things took a turn in university when someone offered to read the Bible with him. It hit him that, unlike the dictionary or encyclopaedia, the Bible is a story with a beginning, journey and end. And it is a story of God’s rescue plan for a broken world in rebellion against him, all made possible in the person of Jesus. The offer of sins being forgiven and the hope of eternal life was a gift too lavish to pass up on.

Before ministry, Nick worked in finance persuading people to invest now for their future. While that was good, he has come to a deeper grasp that investing time to tell people of God’s great rescue plan is better. It is an investment that will last.

Nick is married to Yulin. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and eating. Nick thinks he has undiagnosed ADHD so please do forgive him if he talks too much or zones out when you speak to him.
